Johann Ortiz Castillo is a designer and Yale graduate with a BA in Computing and the Arts, bringing together a background in graphic design, UI/UX, web development, and print production. He has worked with clients ranging from Yale student organizations and community affinity groups to corporate stakeholders at Baird, designing everything from brand identities and event materials to responsive interface components. His work is grounded in clear visual communication, careful attention to detail, and a collaborative approach refined through hands-on client work and traditional letterpress printing. He is fluent in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, and is driven by the belief that good design should be both beautiful and purposeful.
